
Brian Kaylor serves as Editorial Assistant for the
Baptist General Convention of Missouri, Contributing Editor for
EthicsDaily.com, and Assistant Professor of Communications Studies at James Madison University (where he teaches political communication, rhetorical theory, and public speaking courses).
Brian has won several awards for news and academic writing, including some from the Baptist Communicators Association, the National Communication Association, and the Religious Communication Association. In addition to news and editorial writing for the BGCM, Brian has written pieces for

Brian has a B.A. in Communication and Christian Ministry from Southwest Baptist University, an M.A. in Communication from the University of Missouri, a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Missouri, and studied at a Baptist seminary. He has also taught communication courses at the University of Missouri, Southwest Baptist University, and for the Junior Statesman Program at Northwestern University.
